Qasim Brooks, an orphan who was adopted by the Brooks family at a young age, has made himself Lord Obsidian in secret. It is the most powerful force in the whole world. The accidental death of his brother, Tarin Brooks, frustrated and dispirited Qasim. Cheray Brooks, his wife, finds him unpromising and files for a divorce. To find who killed his brother without getting Cheray and their son in trouble, Qasim agrees to get divorced although he doesnโt want to. After secret investigation, Qasim finds out it was Talia, Tarinโs wife, who colluded with other forces to kill Tarin. Out of anger, he goes to the north to wipe out Taliaโs force and saves Cheray and their son. Later, he tracks down all people who were involved in killing Tarin and uses the power as Lord Obsidian to make them pay. At last, Cheray realizes she has misunderstood Qasim and gets back with him.
